We live in a world of entertainment which is slowly getting overrun by anime and manga. With the arrival of streaming platforms, availability of anime has grown tremendously and so has their popularity. One of the most popular manga/anime today is Tokyo Revengers which is written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since March 2017. An anime television series adaptation of the manga by Liden Films also aired from April to September 2021. That aside, a second season is set to premiere in January 2023 as well, however today we are going to talk about the upcoming Tokyo Revengers manga Chapter 276 which is among the final few chapters of the manga. Tokyo Revengers Chapter 276 Full Plot Summary and Raw Scans
Before we get to this chapter, we have a really sad news for the fans as Tokyo Revengers manga is officially ending and we’re now just left with 3 chapters including Chapter 276. Side text reads – The soul of Takemichi still lies between life and death. Takemichi is dead and lying on Mikey’s thighs while Mikey is seen crying and saying, “Wake up….. Takemichi…. Did I not say that it was for this reason….. that I ended up going away…? If you die, then it has no sense…right?…. Please…. I beg you….. Open your eyes.” Others are crying as well and Mikey is holding Takemichi’s hand. This is where occurs the time leap and Takemichi ends up waking from bed.
He exclaims upon waking up in his room and notes that it is the Year 1998 September 10th, 7:05 am. He hears a voice (his mother) saying that he doesn’t usually wake up so early and then he looks into the mirror. Takemichi exclaims, “It has to be a joke.. Is it my first-grade self? Eh? I was pierced by a sword to death. I couldn’t have time-leaped, right? Is it a dream? Maybe this time… Eeeeh? I really am in little primary… But, Maybe there is a possibility…”
The voice calls him for breakfast but he straight up runs to Sano house, rings the bell, and calls for Mikey. Baji opens the door, doesn’t recognize him and asks him to what he wants with Mikey. Baji says that he’ll hit him depending on the answer, while Takemichi exclaims, “Impossible”. As a result Baji doesn’t understand him and goes on to hit him in the face. Suddenly Emma appears from behind and asks Takemichi not to fight in front of other people’s house.
Then Haruchiyo, Sanzu, and Shinichiro also appear and Takemichi looks at all of them in total astonishment. None of them recognize him and he realizes that the time leap is true. He realizes that his younger self hasn’t met them yet so it is obvious that they don’t recognize him. Then Mikey emerges and recognizes him, “Huh? Who? You… Takimichi?” Takimichi exclaims at the fact that somehow Mikey knows him even though they haven’t met yet in the past. This is where the chapter ends. Editor’s comment: “For some reason, it’s a time leap into the past…!? And what about Mikey!?”
