The Game Awards is an award event that celebrates gaming each year by awarding the deserving candidates in the world of gaming. The award show first started in 2014 and soon became an annualized event. They are hosted and produced by game journalist Geoff Keighley, who previously worked for over ten years on the Spike Video Game Awards. The awards are normally held in December every year. The nominations for the awards are announced a month before the event i.e., November. The awards are normally held in person but they are also live streamed on TikTok. This year the awards are being held in the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. Geoff Keighley, the founder of the awards announced this year’s awards and as time passes really quickly we’re already here where we have the list of all the winners along with all the major announcements that were made today. Let’s dive right in and you want to, check out the livestream here!
