The Flash

Hey guys, do you remember The Flash movie? Yeah, the one that stars Ezra Miller. Yeah, the same guy who committed multiple felonies. Yes, the same guy people were afraid who was going to to turn in serial killer. You remember him? Or at least the movie? If you do then good. So, yeah that movie is not cancelled, it is going to be released, even if the lead star is at risk of being declared a criminal but for some reason Batgirl faced the axe. Well done, Warner Bros. Context aside, in August Warner Bros. took the decision that the Flash movie would go on as Ezra Miller released a statement about regretting his actions and promising to working on his mental health.

The Flash was always going to be important for the DCEU as it was supposed to result into some kind of soft reboot that will allow Warner Bros. to put a carpet on their past mistakes (2017’s Justice League) and start anew where they churn out the weed but are still able to use the parts that work. The movie faced a lot of issues for obvious reasons but after Warner Bros. decided to go on with the film, its release date was carved in stone. As we are trudging towards that release date, Warner Bros. released a new poster for the film last month and it looks like that’s not it. We’re going to get the trailer of the movie soon, when? Let’s find out.

The Flash Movie Trailer To Come Out In Early 2023?

After replacing Henry Cavill as Superman, DC Studios are all set to make a new announcement. The Flash movie which is in the works for a longtime will finally reveal some footage from the film early next year. According to a recent report by The Wrap, Warner Bros. are all set to return to the Superbowl after almost 15 years where they’re ready to reveal the first trailer for the upcoming Flash movie. Warner Bros. stopped making any ad buys for the event since 2006 but the Hollywood giant is now ready as the speedster makes his return.

Warner Bros. return to the gaming event after so much time is a tactical decision as the Super Bowl LVII is taking place on 12th February 2023 which is just 5 days before the release of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, this could be a deliberate move from the studio to drum up eagerness around the newly formed DCU and the movie as well. This might in turn result in drawing the audiences’ attention aside from the Marvel blockbuster.

Andres Muschietti (IT) will helm The Flash, and Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey, Batgirl) will pen the story. Additionally, it will feature the Bruce Wayne/Batman characters played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, as well as Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu as Nora Allen, Ian Loh as a young Barry Allen, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso in unspecified roles.

The Flash is slated for a theatrical release on June 23, 2023.
