Most Popular Netflix Shows

Netflix isn’t what it once was. For a long time the streaming giant was called the best in the world. Netflix pretty much redefined the way we consume content. The pandemic greatly helped Netflix solidify their position in people’s life however, as the word opened up again, Netflix’s importance has gone down. The platform is still the biggest streaming service in the world with over 223.9 Million subscribers followed by Amazon Prime Video with 200 Million subscribers and Disney+ with 164.2 Million. However, at the start of 2022, Netflix had predicted that their user base will increase significantly but during July, their second quarters report revealed that the streaming giant lost 970,000 subscribers. The following months saw Netflix’s reaction to this.

They’re making significant changes in their plans and terms to make sure that the subscribers hang around for a bit longer, however, it doesn’t seem like anything is working for Netflix right now. The platform will reportedly stop the “Password Sharing” option from early next year. However, despite having a bust 2022, Netflix still had some major releases in 2022, which took over the world and saved the platform’s losses. Here is the list of the Most Popular Show on Netflix in 2022!

Which Is The Most Popular Show On Netflix?

As it is the end of this glorious year, like everyone else, Netflix has has released a list of the Most Popular Shows of 2022 on their platform. There are some surprises while some regulars on the list. The crown was of course taken by the streaming juggernaut- Stranger Things 4. It is Netflix’s most valued possession and it keeps proving to us why. It will be really difficult for Netflix to find its replacement when the show ends next season. The fourth season of Stranger Things absolutely exploded as it introduced a new villain- Vecna.

The new season came almost after three years, so fans were desperately waiting for it. Stranger Things 4 claimed the crown as the series was in the top spot with 19 weeks spent in Netflix’s Top 10s. It was followed by the hottest show on Netflix right now- Wednesday. Honestly, Wednesday was a close number two and I think it would’ve surpassed Stranger Things 4 had it released earlier than November 23. The third spot was claimed by Dahmer which was another sensational hit of the year.

The highly anticipated second season of Bridgerton came in fourth. The mini series Inventing Anna did phenomenal as well coming in at 5. The list also features debutants like The Sandman and The Watcher, along with the third season of The Umbrella Academy Season 3.  2022 also made Netflix end their relationships with various shows as their last seasons came out. The biggest being Ozark Season 4 which also features on the top 10 list on number 6.

All the above mentioned shows are available for streaming on Netflix.
