The latest news report from the New York Post confirmed that the alleged victim in the Jonathan Majors case was once employed by Marvel. The victim and Majors’ then girlfriend who is now identified by the New York Post as Grace Jabbari was officially credited as Movement Coach in Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The outlet also shared images of the woman partying seemingly uninjured at a glance. However, the security footage provided is grainy and blurry, and may not be able to show everything in detail. Also, Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry said that following the incident that the woman is claiming to be an attack on her is in fact an attack on Majors as the actor allegedly received 32 calls from the woman, and angry texts including an alleged threat of suicide.
After this exciting development, the case turned cold as many new updates were kept under wraps as the lawyers are trying to build their cases. However, today Jonathan Majors has made his first court appearance in his assault case.
Jonathan Majors Desperately Fighting For His Career!
In a year that was probably the biggest for his career, Jonathan Majors was arrested for domestic violence in March 2023 involving a woman who was taken to the hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck.” The actor was later charged with several counts of assault and aggravated harassment. Today, in a Lower Manhattan courtroom Jonathan Majors made his first court room appearance. Variety reports that the actor donned a brown suit and sunglasses but he removed the latter before he approached the bench for a brief status conference, which only lasted about three minutes.
The proceedings revealed concluded with the judge ordering that his trial will commence on August 3rd. After making his court appearance, Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhary issued a statement, “We strongly requested the District Attorney dismiss all charges against Mr. Majors immediately and initiate proceedings against Ms. Jabbari, holding her accountable for her crimes. While we are hopeful that the District Attorney is reviewing these materials in good faith and will do the right thing soon, to accelerate our case, we’ve requested a trial date ASAP.”
Jonathan Majors’ trial will commence from August 3rd 2023.
