After the release of three Ahsoka episodes, fans wonder about the first appearance of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Episodes 1-3 showcased how Ahsoka and Sabine were master and apprentice at some point while setting up how Morgan, Baylan, Skoll, and Shin would locate Thrawn in his galaxy. The teaser shows Thrawn on the hyperspace ring and in a location with a dark background so that fans would see him in the series. By episode 5, Ahsoka, Baylan, Shin, Sabine, and Marrok will likely be over with their duels on Seatos. By then Morgan’s hyperspace ring will probably be operational. She will finally be on her way to Peridea (the extragalactic location of Thrawn) in episode 5. Thrawn is likely to make his grand appearance by the end of episode 5 or soon.
Grand Admiral Thrawn ‘s Role in Ahsoka
Thrawn is most likely to return at the end of episode 5, but his debut could be delayed. Traveling to another galaxy is something that has never happened in Star Wars canon. So, Morgan is more likely to face troubles on the journey and for that reason, there could be a delay. Also, if Thrawn has a major influence in the story, Filoni may want to save him for the end. This probability is higher if Lucasfilm and Disney are planning a second season of Ahsoka. Since, season one already has Morgan, Shin, Baylan, and Marrok, another villain like Thrawn might feel overwhelming.
When Thrawn appears in the series, his presence will be significant. If he shows up by the end of episode 5, he will pose a threat to all the antagonists in the series. Since Ahsoka, Hera, and Sabine are searching for Ezra, Ezra is more likely in the same place as Thrawn. There is also a possibility of a showdown between heroes and villains in episode 8. Due to Thrawn’s intelligence and because he is the primary antagonist, he will probably be able to stop them and leave them stranded in a separate galaxy, while he and Morgan return to the Star Wars galaxy.
