Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Movie is about to make its debut. The excitement amongst Swifties and moviegoers is evident. They are definitely READY FOR IT! On Thursday, AMC Theatres Entertainment and AMC Theatres Distribution announced that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has already sold more than $100 million in presale tickets. Early predictions had suggested that the film would make over $100 million just on its opening weekend alone. Last month, it was confirmed that the movie would be expanding into more countries.
Aside from Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, it was announced that Swift will direct a feature film for Searchlight Pictures. The untitled film is based on a script written by Taylor Swift. However, amid the Hollywood strikes and Swift’s busy schedule, we don’t have any additional information.

In a statement when the film was first announced to be in development Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield talked about Swift. “Taylor is a once in a generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey.”
