BTS Yet to Come Movie

K-pop movie BTS: Yet to Come will be exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform, launching on November 9 in most territories. The concert film includes 19 performances of the biggest boy band’s hit tracks. These include “Mic Drop”, “Dynamite”, “RUN”, “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).” The movie is filled with electrifying stage designs, speeches, and spectacular displays.

The original concert happened in Busan in October 2022 in support of the Korean port city’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo. They played at the Asiad Main Stadium, with approximately 50,000 people. An additional 10,000 viewers in the city watched a live retransmission at Busan Port. And, a further 2,000 gathered at the tourist hotspot Haeundae. BTS’s agency HYBE claimed 49 million viewers live-streamed the concert on Weverse.

BTS: Yet to Come Heads to Prime Video

The re-edited concert film “BTS Yet To Come In Cinemas,” enjoyed a limited theatrical career in January this year. HYBE, Trafalgar Releasing, and CJ 4DPlex are producing the new concert film. The new deal with Prime Video marks a break from BTS’s previous collaboration with Disney+. The Disney streamer previously uploaded the 4K concert film “BTS: Permission to Dance On Stage – LA,” featuring the BTS’s performance at the Sofi stadium in November 2021, “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star,” a docuseries that charted the band’s rise to fame; and travel show “In the Soop; Friendication,” with V (Kim Taehyung).

David Simonsen, director of Prime Video in Southeast Asia talked about the platform’s collaboration with the band. “We are thrilled to partner with Hybe in welcoming BTS: Yet to Come to Prime Video,” said Simonsen. “We know the popularity of high-quality Korean content worldwide and we look forward to delighting consumers around the globe with BTS: Yet to Come.”

Prime Video said that “BTS: Yet to Come” will be available in 240 countries and territories, starting November 9. Among the laggards is Japan, where the concert film will only be available from December 1.
