The Last of Us Season 2

The Last of Us Season 2 conjectures are escalating each day. Following the release of TLOU Season 1 there has been several anticipation for Season 2. Though, the first season gained huge acclaim and was adapted brilliantly for the HBO series. However, the Season 2 will be a whole different adaptation. As HBO prepares for Season 2, there are various kinds of assumptions and information to know. Here’s some information we have gathered so far.

The Last of Us Season 2 Recent Update

Season 2 of The Last of Us is reportedly planning to start filming in January 2024. This would perhaps change, however, due to the need to secure locations for the productions among other aspects, the filming will likely commence in the early weeks of 2024. Season 1 took about 200 days to shoot all 10 episodes. Though, we don’t know how many episodes Season 2 will be, however, the second game is much longer, though it’s expected to spread across a few seasons.

There is no official announcement regarding who will play Abby’s character. She is a very critical and controversial character in the show. That said, prominent rumors suggest that Booksmart actor Kaitlyn Dever will play Abby’s role.

Pedro Pascal is reportedly circling a deal to be a part of the Fantastic Four movie as Reed Richards. This would make him an important part of the MCU. According to other reports, the actor is prioritizing Gladiator 2. Pascal is expected to have a reduced role in The Last of Us Season 2, whether or not it is because of MCU is unclear. However, all the signs indicate that Pascal will be joining the superhero world.

HBO has not announced a release date for The Last of Us season 2. However, it was previously targeting a 2025 release window.
