Anyone but You was one of the many December releases that we got last year. It released on the Christmas weekend along with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. One can say that the film had marginal hype given the casting of Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. Both stars are coming off fresh after doing successful ventures like Euphoria and Top Gun: Maverick, respectively. Sweeney and Powell both are considered to be one of the most of prepossessing actors working in Hollywood. An “R” rated rom-com starring them will sure make the heart race faster. The trailer promised us some explicit scenes with lighthearted and heartfelt comedy. However, the reviews of the film didn’t present it in the best light. Not to worry though, the audience has shown the Will Gluck directorial enough love to negate the poor critical reception. If for some reason you missed the film in theatres but want to watch this steamy rom-com now then don’t worry, we have the date when you can watch it online.
When Can You Watch Anyone But You Online?
When To Stream reveals that Sony Pictures’ Anyone but You will be available for rent or purchase on digital and VOD platforms like Vudu, Apple iTunes and Amazon Prime Video from January 23rd, 2024. That is the same day that Blumhouse’s Night Swim will have its digital debut as well. The Sydney Sweeney starrer had an exclusive theatrical run of 32 days, which is more or less the average theatre to digital window for a film distributed by Sony Pictures.

Anyone but You was made on a budget of $25 million and has earned a staggering $61 million. The film is a huge box office success much like most of the Sony films this year. We don’t have any idea about the film’s DVD and Blu-ray release date. If and when that comes, I’ll keep you posted. There is no update on the film’s streaming release date. However, considering this is a Sony Production, Anyone but You will most likely head to Netflix, thanks to the deal between Sony and the streaming giant.
The movies generally come six months after their theatrical release. Considering that, Anyone but You should be available to stream on Netflix in late June 2024. Along with Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney in the lead, the rom com also boasts a fantastic supporting cast including Darren Barnet, Alexandra Shipp, Hadley Robinson and Dermot Mulroney
