Diablo 4 is an upcoming dungeon crawler action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the fourth title in the Diablo series and was announced at BlizzCon 2019 on November 1, 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Diablo 4 will also release for next gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, in 2023. He have some cool news for gamers who dig main storylines of such games.
Diablo 4 Playtime Revealed
Director Joe Shely, in a recent interview with GameSpot, revealed that the Diablo 4 ‘s main campaign will last about 35 hours in total. That’s a pretty good length for any game’s main campaign as there’ll be a lot more to do throughout the game. So, in totality Diablo 4 could provide 50-60+ hours of gameplay depending on your gaming skills.
In the interview, Shely said, “You’re able to travel anywhere in the world, make decisions about what you want to do, whether you want to pursue the campaign, which is a 35-hour experience that is just brimming with story and characters that are really human and you can really connect with on an emotional level. We’ve worked really hard on the campaign in Diablo 4 and we’re really proud of how it’s developing.”
Talking about the story, general manager Rod Fergusson said that it has a non linear storyline with a shared open world. These days almost every franchise is stepping up to create an open world title as it is always more immersive and allows users to fully experience the fantasy worlds they want to be a part of.
“The story is non-linear so you can choose how to play out the story. You’re in a shared open world, you can choose to go exploring instead of doing the story if you want to. You can go anywhere you want within Sanctuary and go do dungeons or go do other things and take on a world boss or go do local events, so you have choice there,” said Fergusson.
