The Flash Reverse Flash Is Now All But Confirmed to Be The Villain

DC Live action seems to be bit of a mess and most of us have no clue as to what WB is trying to do since some time . Since Man of Steel’s release, it was thought that a cinematic universe much like MCU will be built. But ever since the release of non DCEU The Joker (2019), things have been complicated and hard to understand. Apart from Wonder Woman, we haven’t seen any of the Justice League members since 2018’s Aquaman. Batman and Superman have been missing from 4 years.

Well, all that is about to change with this year’s The Flash which will mark the end for some DCEU characters and will breathe new life into others. We very well know that The Flash is all set to adapt the comic book storyline of Flashpoint which is often considered one of the best comic book arcs of all time! There is no doubt there are high hopes from this film and also, it will provide clarity about DC’s future live action plans.

Reverse Flash Is Basically Confirmed Now

For those who aren’t aware, Reverse Flash (Eobard Thawne) is the main antagonist of the Flashpoint storyline. So, fans are already expecting to see him in the film and now it’s all but confirmed. Stunt performer Shane Steyn shared a picture of a merchandize T-Shirt on Instagram which showcased some silhouettes. These silhouettes include Michael Keaton’s Batman, Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, and a version of The Flash.

We all know alternate versions of both Miller’s Flash and Affleck’s Batman will be in the film. Michael Keaton’s Batman is one such version which is confirmed to be in the film and fans expect Grant Gustin’s Falsh from CW series to appear. But fans were quick to note that the silhouette of Flash is actually Reverse Flash. Fans commented that, “Reverse flash will be the main villain,” and, “Someone’s gonna get a phone call from WB very soon.”

And that is exactly what happened! The Instagram post he shared has now been removed. This can be confirmed from the websites that reported the post yesterday. For example, look at this post from comicbook.com – Click Here. As you can see, the post has been removed and this shows how desperate WB was to conceal this from fans. All this has made it abundantly clear that Reverse Flash will surely be in the film.
