If you don’t already know, Ms. Marvel is all set to return in The Marvels (Captain Marvel 2) alongside Captain Marvel (Carol Denvers), and Monica Rambeau. The film is all set to release in July 2023 and will showcase the further adventures of the Captain Marvel family. Ms. Marvel finale had just one post credit scene where Carol Denvers suddenly appeared in Kamala’s room! This can be explained by her switching places with Kamala Khan due to some connection the bangle formed between them. This directly tied Ms. Marvel to The Marvels and as per reports, The Marvels is also heavily tied to Secret Invasion. The following sections consist of some minor spoilers to the plot of Ms. Marvel, so read at your own risk!

Marvel made it difficult to breathe at this years SDCC and D23 2022 as it poured in a bucket lot of information on the fans including Phase 5 and Phase 6 plans. While most of the information is public, certain trailers and footages were only showcased to the D23 audience and The Marvels was one of those trailers. Following is a cleaned ONLY audio trailer for The Marvels, but rest assured that we’ll update it as some footage of the trailer arrives. So have a look and enjoy.
The trailer opens on a space station named SABER. As Monica Rambeau flies towards a portal, Nick Fury calls to her, “What the hell are you doing?” The portal shoots her back towards the station and she lands on the Moon. The SABER staff asks where “Captain Rambeau” is. In the following scene, Kamala Khan is aggressively teleported out of her room in a swirl of purple energy. In her place comes Carol Danvers. Monica explains to Kamala that their powers are intertwined and they’re swapping places with each other; wherever Captain Marvel was before, Kamala is now.
The scene returns to the cosmic; Kamala freaks out at the sight of Captain Marvel’s pet cat Flerken, Goose. All three superheroines travel through space, and Ms. Marvel fights in a space station. Next comes a glimpse of a new, female villain (possibly Hala) holding a hammer similar to that of the late Ronan the Accuser. Kamala says the three of them are a team, but Carol disagrees. Still, there’s plenty of funny banter between the three.
When they throw down with rock paper scissors, Kamala and Monica swap places. Kamala asks, “now why would you say ‘go’ if you wanted us to go on three?” Kamala and Monica swap places again and when Kamala lands in the station and takes Monica’s place, she geeks out about meeting Nick Fury. When Fury and agents show up at Kamala’s house, her family, on the other hand, is bewildered by their presence and Kamala’s disappearance. The Marvels is set to release in theaters on July 28, 2023.
