On November 4, Attack on Titan‘s last episode will put an end to the Scout Regiment’s bloody adventure. While the heroes aim to halt Eren Jaeger’s genocidal campaign, Armin is going to play a significant role when it comes to the final battle. As seen in the promotional content, Armin will call upon the power of the Founding Titan, and Marine Inoue (voice actor) has hinted at a twist for the last chapter.
Attack On Titan Season 4 Original Content
Though this episode might offer us the ending of Attack on Titan’s anime, the manga concluded a few years prior. The final chapter dealt with some wild events. Many fans of the Scout Regiment still consider it quite controversial. Even, the creator Hajime Isayama apologized for the ending. With Armin’s voice actor hinting at a significant change, we can assume the adaptation would make changes in the anime.
Marine Inoue (voice of Armin) hinted at the original scene in the anime ending via a recent interview. “We’re eagerly anticipating the conclusion, and we’ve put our hearts and souls into this. There’s a special anime-original scene that holds significant meaning. It’s a pivotal moment for Armin and Eren, and I wonder about the thoughts and feelings they hold. It became an essential scene in what I’ve portrayed.”
In a recent interview, Inoue also talked about her favorite scene, “One significant scene for me was in the “Rite of Passage” in Season 3, where Armin entrusts his dream to Eren. Entrusting his dream to Eren felt like the most sparkling moment for Armin in these ten years of Attack on Titan. It was incredibly precious”.
