It is hard to believe that it has been over 9 years since Attack on Titan or Shingeki no Kyojin first came out and took the world of anime by storm. It is often called Game of Thrones of anime but unlike GOT, AOT’s final season has been completely mind-numbing and exceptional. The Season 4 Part 3’s 1 hour special that aired on 3rd March is the penultimate episode of the saga with just one more episode to go. The one hour special consisted to two chapters – Chapter 1 “The Rumbling” and Chapter 2 “Sinners”, and you can check out our review for it here. This article, however, is about the upcoming second episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 which will also be the finale.
Attack on Titan The Final Chapters – Special 2 Releasing This Fall
Good times are back again as AOT is back one last time which is actually not the last time as it will take a short break now before the finale of Season 4 Part 3. Basically, Season 4 Part 3 only has 2 episodes, one of which is out now and the next one aka the finale will arrive this fall. So instead of making many episodes, makers decided to make just two long specials to end the saga. What’s really really disappointing and frustrating is the fact that we have to wait for some time again to witness the ending of this epic saga.
So, basically AOT Season 4 Part 3 should be considered as a collection of two AOT movies to end it all. The first one was called The Final Chapters: Special 1 and the finale will be called The Final Chapters: Special 2 which might consist of the final 2 or 3 chapters. Good thing is that it has been confirmed that it will return this year itself. As for the release date it has been confirmed that it will return during fall which means between October and December. So, anyhow, we still have a long wait of nearly 6 months ahead of us before we get to see the finale.

As for the length of the finale, it might be a bit longer than the first special and might clock somewhere between 70-90 minutes. This is purely speculation though based on the fact that there is still a bit of action and story left to arrive and it may take more than an hour to wrap it all up. The previous special ended with most of the crew diving directly on Eren’s Titan, an injured Levi getting back into action, Reiner transforming into the Armored Titan mid-air to leap on Beast Titan, and Armin delivering a really cool line upon landing. So yes, there are still a lot of incredible moments to come which will turn AOT into the Tournament of Power from Dragon Ball Super! All we can do as fans now, is to wait and hope the ending pays off and is epic as the series has been so far.
