Avatar The Last Airbender Azula Story Art Revealed

After a long period of quiet, Avatar: The Last Airbender returned to popularity amid the pandemic, and the franchise is now celebrating with various projects. It seems like everything is going Aang’s way, from a live-action television series to an animated movie. Fans have now been blessed with the first glimpse at Azula’s own outing, and recent sources have indicated that further graphic novels are on the way for the series to enhance its fantastic lore!

After all, the girl will have a new side story, and it will be an exciting adventure to follow. Azula in the Spirit Temple was unveiled during San Diego Comic-Con 2022, and the comic just made its first cover art available to readers.

Avatar: The Last Airbender – Azula In The Spirit Temple Coming 2023

The Avatar artwork depicts Azula in her element as she holds a ball of blue fire in her hand, as you can see above. The girl appears to have entered some kind of temple, and the fog inside is seen making a pair of eyes above Azula’s head. Of course, she didn’t pay much attention to the circumstances as she entered the temple, and the state of her clothes indicates that Azula had quite the journey before discovering this secret sanctuary.

Fans currently know very little about this graphic novel, but they are aware that it will be released in 2023. This is the second comic in which Azula features as the main character after Avatar: The Last Airbender visited her during Zuko’s quest to find his mother. In a subsequent comic, Azula made a comeback while posing as the Kemurikage, and the plot saw the princess find her true calling.

Azula claims she is now determined to oversee the Fire Nation while acting as Zuko’s puppet master. As you can expect, she will have difficulty achieving that goal, but she will still make an effort. Avatar fans hope to discover more about Azula and her adventures after the Hundred Year War, when this new graphic novel hits the stores.
