Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, and its story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power and with the help of his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. A Black Clover anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. That aside, a Black Clover anime film is set to premiere in 2023. But today we are going to talk about the upcoming Chapter 334 of the Manga, so beware as major spoilers for the same follow below.

A Quick Recap for Black Clover Chapter 334 – Lucius has a inner-conversation with Julius where he tells him how he has it all figured out and he can reach the peace of this world. Perhaps the reason why he couldn’t stop time for Asta is anti magic. Lucius says “anti magic… the power that defies reason”. Scene cuts back to Asta-Lucius. Lucius stops time for everyone except for the two of them. Asta and Lucius have a conversation about whether or not the Wizard King is dead. Then Lucius monologues about destroying all humanity and rebuilding them with the magic of his siblings. So that all humanity becomes equal. He wants to rule them all so nothing goes wrong again.
He goes on to say that he has it all figured out except Asta, “YOU. Born without magic, you’re the flaw in this world”. To this Asta replies by vowing to stop him and surpassing the Wizard King, “I’ll stop you, and save the WK!!! Right here and now, I’ll surpass the Wizard King!!” Lucius also says he’s stronger than Julius, then Asta breaks the time-freezing spell, and this is where the chapter ends.
