Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, and its story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power and with the help of his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. A Black Clover anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. That aside, a Black Clover anime film is set to premiere in 2023. But today we are going to talk about the upcoming Chapter 339 of the Manga, so beware as major spoilers for the same follow below.

Bystanders are saying Asta is a foreigner based on his hair colour. Liebe has the same scar on his chest as Asta. Asta says, “Liieebeeee I’m so glad you’re fiiineeeee I was really lonely we got separateeeeed” and Liebe replies “me too”. We meet a new character, the “recovery (healing) genius” called Fumito and Liebe is fine! Asta asks Ryuu how he can return to Clover. Ryuu again says Asta cannot win against Lucius right now.
Asta thinks he couldn’t protect Sister Lily and keeps throwing a fit. Ichika slaps Asta and says, “I don’t care if you die. You’re only alive because Ryuuya-sama and Mikuriya-dono (Fumito the healer) saved you.” Training starts. Asta was doubting if he can still be strong after he failed to save Lily, but regained his confidence at the end of the chapter. He says to Ichika, “Thank you. I can still be strong. Please help me.”
Asta withered away a bamboo that grows on youryoku (that sorcery power) with his anti-magic. Everyone was amazed and Even Ichika looks surprised. The sparring/training continues. In the end Asta withers away an un-withering bamboo to everyone’s amazement. More summary to be added soon so stay tuned.
