Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, and its story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power and with the help of his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. A Black Clover anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. That aside, a Black Clover anime film is set to premiere in 2023. But today we are going to talk about the upcoming Chapter 345 of the Manga, so beware as major spoilers for the same follow below.

Chapter starts with a flashback, Ryu tells Ichika & Asta that the enemy is here. Asta wants to join the fight but Ryu tells him his training is incomplete and so he should stay behind. We’re back to the present where Asta is training with the 2 Ryuzen members. Asta is struggling to get an opening against the Ryuzen member, and Asta remarks the guy is very strong. The guy says he wants to join the ongoing fight too, but since Ryu asked him to train Asta, he’ll take care of that first.
The Ryuzen member playing the biwa (that music instrument) is healing the fighting one and also gives him a boost in strength. He also says he wants to help Ryu. The fighting Ryuzen tells Asta he sees why Ryu would like him, but at this rate his Zetten will never be complete, because Asta hesitates. The guy can see this from the way Asta uses his katana. Asta ponders about this hesitation and remembers he couldn’t save Sister Lily, he got done by Lucius, he started thinking he can no longer be strong, he couldn’t win against Ichika etc..
Black clover 345 continues as Asta then thinks of Yuno, that Yuno might have saved Lily, that he might have not been defeated by Lucius. That he made it Grand Magic Knight first and even now Yuno continues to be stronger. We’re back to the fight with the other 5 Ryuzen. The girl keeps doomsdaying how this is her last day to live but then goes into crazy mode and cuts Lily’s horn off. Lily remarks she’s dealing with such a peasant. This is where the chapter ends and there will be a break again next week.
