Blue Lock is one of the top selling manga series in the world right now and sold over 1.5 Million copies in December 2022 (#1 Rank). It is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, and revolved around, Ego Jinpachi who is hired by the Japanese Football Union to lead the team to victory in FIFA WC.. His master plan to lead Japan to stardom is Blue Lock, a training regimen designed to create the world’s greatest egotist striker. As it happens, its anime television series adaptation produced by Eight Bit premiered in October 2022 and that led to a huge boost in its popularity. It dethroned Slam Dunk as best selling sports manga in December 2022 as well as every other manga in the world. As it happens, Blue Lock Chapter 203 is all set to debut soon and that is exactly what this article is about.
Blue Lock Chapter 203 Spoilers and Full Plot Summary

Chapter 203 continues from the last chapter, where Yukimiya scores the winning goal for Bastard Munchen because of Isagi’s pass. For a brief moment, Isagi glances at Kaiser who looks confused. Announcer – “A… A super assist from Isagi Yoichi… Yukimiya Kenyuu’s ultra goal brings the score to 3-2 to a dramatic conclusion!! Bastard Munchen wins!!!” Kurona, Igaguri and Teppei come to Yukimiya to probably congratulate him for the winning goal but Yukimiya is looking at Isagi. He approaches Isagi, although it looks awkward at the start, both of them say “Sorry” at the same time. Yukimiya says, “Isagi… If you weren’t looking at me, I was done for… Up until now… I’ve said mean things… I’m sorry…”
Isagi replies, “Don’t be… I needed you… Thinking it for the sake of defeating Kaiser, I used you as a tool. It was all calculated… But in the end, the only thing I didn’t read was when Reo was coming. You shot to overcome even such a failure, It’s your win, Yukimiya… I should be the one to apologize. I’m sorry.” Yukimiya says, “But how did you come up with that sequence of plays? Didn’t you have the option to make the shot yourself?” Isagi replies, “I did. I mean, if Kaiser hadn’t come, I would have for sure… But he took a perfectly efficient route and came to steal the ball, and I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it if he tackled me… I foresaw that… that’s why it’s a call to assist you. I had a trick up my sleeve that only I could understand, all just to beat Kaiser… To prove that I’m the top performer in this match.”
Yukimiya thinks, “Isagi… is thinking that far!?” then continue the conversation, “Hah, you’re really a jerk. You’re too clever, it’s not cute but, the MOM (Man of the match/Player of the match) is you by all means, Isagi.” Isagi replies, “Yeah, right. I thought you didn’t like those who are goody-two shoes?” Yukimiya asks him to shut up and Isagi replies, “But, keep being a fool chasing your dreams, Yukimiya. Don’t be someone who fits into my logic.” Yukimiya says, “I guess so. That’s it for us… Let’s stab each other in the back anytime.” Ness is looking at Yukimiya and Isagi and seems to hear their conversation.
Blue Lock 203 continues as Ness says, “What’s with that… sickening rivalry…” Then suddenly, Ness comes to the two of them. Ness says, “That pass was a trash hand as a striker! Don’t lie to me about beating Kaiser! You ran away because you were afraid of losing to him! That’s your only justification, Yoichi! You’re a loser, Yoichi! You are sh*t!” Isagi replies, “Let me explain it to you again, shall I? You’re a toy Kaiser came with.” Ness is fuming, telling Isagi to “Shut up” repeatedly. Then Kaiser comes and holds Ness’ head making him bow down. Kaiser tells Ness to shut up and talks to Isagi. Kaiser says, “I’ll admit it, Yoichi. That scene, at that moment, your thinking was one step better than mine.” Kaiser’s hand is gripping Ness’ head so hard that Ness says “It hurts”.
Kaiser says, “You deserve credit for this match, but you had Noa. Let’s compete without him next time. We’re strikers, right? Let’s see how many “goals” we can score next, Yoichi. What do you say?” Just before Isagi could reply, he collapsed on the field. Yukimiya called out Isagi, surprised, Kaiser finally let go of Ness’ head and Noa asked what was wrong. Kaiser caught Isagi on the head. Kaiser says, “You overheated huh. Playing soccer until the end, what kind of a child doesn’t know how to handle that? You f*cking egoist.” The ending note reads, “What he gained in exchange for exhausting his desperate efforts was a certain “evolution”. Sleep now, then soar high again! The journey to becoming “the world’s best” continues!! Hopefully there won’t be a break next week and the story will continue in the next chapter, “Comrade In Arms”.

As Blue Lock is printed in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, a brand new chapter comes out each Tuesday/Wednesday.
