Blue Lock is one of the top selling manga series in the world right now and sold over 1.5 Million copies in December 2022 (#1 Rank). It is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, and revolved around, Ego Jinpachi who is hired by the Japanese Football Union to lead the team to victory in FIFA WC.. His master plan to lead Japan to stardom is Blue Lock, a training regimen designed to create the world’s greatest egotist striker. As it happens, its anime television series adaptation produced by Eight Bit premiered in October 2022 and that led to a huge boost in its popularity. It dethroned Slam Dunk as best selling sports manga in December 2022 as well as every other manga in the world. - It looks like Isagi’s stats rose by 6? I think it says he’s top 3 and S rank (man boyo about to give Itachi a run for youngest S class)
- Also 94 offense and 82 shooting, 70s everything else, wonder what Isagi picked up from Kunigami
- Of course the trash BM defenders had no change in stats (useless the lot of them I swear)
- Ubers defensive lineup is intense, 3-5-1-1 is gonna be hard to break through with typical triangle passing tactics
- Also looks like quite a few U-20 Japan players in starting lineup
- Raichi gonna have his work cut out for him as DMF, surprised his shooting and offensive stats are so high though
- I don’t really understand why Hiori isn’t starting (don’t see him in lineup, he has better stats than the defender BM trash)
- Meanwhile Barou pulls a classic Italian Balotelli move with the unnecessary yellow card foul before the match even begins.
