If you thought Dandadan couldn’t get any weirder, buckle up. Season 3 is officially confirmed, and it’s about to blow our minds all over again. The anime studio confirmed it’s in production, and while we don’t have a release date yet, early guesses point to sometime in 2026. What’s the Plot Gonna Be?
For the uninitiated, Dandadan is about Momo Ayase, a girl who worships ghosts, and Ken “Okarun” Takakura, a boy obsessed with aliens. Together, they stumble into the weirdest supernatural chaos you can imagine. Season 2 ended with a total jaw-dropper: a mysterious green-haired girl showed up, kissed Okarun, and basically detonated the love triangle we didn’t know we were living in.
Season 3 will promise to dive deeper into alien conspiracies while keeping ghosts, curses, and ridiculous powers intact. Expect more action, more laughs, and a lot more “Wait… did that just happen?” moments.
Characters We Can’t Quit
The best part? The characters. Momo and Okarun are the perfect chaotic duo — she’s smart, fearless, and ready to punch a ghost, while he’s wildly naive, loud, and convinced aliens run the world. Supporting characters like Aira, Jiji, and the legendary Turbo-Granny are expected back, because let’s be honest, Dandadan without them would be like ramen without broth: sad and sadder. Voice actors are returning too, which means all the lines we love (and yell at) are coming back in full force.
Where to Watch (Because We Need It Now)
Past seasons streamed on Netflix and Crunchyroll, and Season 3 is expected to follow suit. No official episode count yet, but it’s probably around twelve, same as before. Animation remains top-tier, with Science SARU keeping things colorful, fast, and completely chaotic. Every fight looks insane, every ghost looks terrifying, and every alien… well, you’ll just have to see it to believe it.
