Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100 Drafts Hint At New Storyline Beast Gohan vs Black Frieza

People often argue that Dragon Ball‘s time is over but the franchise almost repeatedly proves them wrong. Last year, DBS: Super Hero turned out to be one of the highest grossing anime films of all time in US as well as one of the highest rated anime films with an RT score of 93%. Since then however, the manga has been adapting the film giving fans no new content as they await the anime return since 2017. But the good news is that the Super Hero Arc’s final chapter will debut this month and within that chapter itself we’ll move on to the next original arc of Dragon Ball Super! Here’s all we know about it.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100 Drafts Are Out – What Would the Next Arc Be?

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 100 draft pages are now out as provided by @DBSHype. The leaks and spoilers for full chapter will be added in a whole new article on 16th-18th Deceber. So stay tuned with us for this weekend to not miss any update on DBS Chapter 100!

As it happens, there is just one single draft page for this chapter which means they are cooking something. In this draft page, we see Gohan charging up his attack which is none other than Piccolo’s Ultra Beam Cannon and proceeds to fire it directly towards Cell Max. That aside, it has been confirmed that there’s going to be one colored page in this issue but considering how all major Gohan moments have ended, what could this page be? Anyways, since they released only one draft page and considering how barely 1 minute of the film is left to adapt, we can be sure that there’s new content coming to Dragon Ball Manga after a whole year!

What can this content be? While some fans believe we might have a few filler chapters, technically last 11 chapters have been nothing but filler themselves. So, it would be best for the franchise if they move on to the main event aka The Black Frieza Arc. As you may remember, in his new Black form, Frieza is now the most powerful fighter in the universe, potentially as strong as Lord Beerus himself. So, everyone is quite hyped for the Black Frieza arc and we have received some information which has hyped fans even further.

In a recent video for the Bandai Spirits channel, the editor of the V-Jump magazine Victory Uchida promoted Dragon Ball Super and stated that fans in for something “unbelievable/unexpected” in the next issue. It was also hinted that we should look forward towards some crazy developments in the coming chapter. This has left fans quite excited and they have been speculating ever since. Well, to add some fuel to these speculations, here are a few ours as well.

So, the most basic speculation regarding the matter is that we’ll likely get another tease at Black Freiza Arc which will be coming out but not starting just yet. Another theory that has some merit to it is that, we might see a re-adaptation of End of the Z Arc/Peaceful World Saga which would add Uub and the events of EOZ into the Super continuity. Trunks, Goten and Pan are about as old as they were at the end of DBZ and it would make a lot of sense for Toei to collide the Super and End of Z timelines here. That would also make the upcoming Black Frieza arc more interesting as now none of the characters would be wearing plot armours now. It would make a lot of sense to go to the next major arc after clarifying the conflicted timelines of DBZ and DBS.

other speculations include that the next chapter might be a Dragon Ball Daima Prelude which doesn’t make much sense to us. Finally, they can actually start the Black Freiza Arc officially and have Frieza kick off the arc with some lethal damage. But these are all just speculations and the official information will start coming out next month. So stay tuned with us and let us know your speculations and theories below!
