Dragon Ball Super Manga’s latest arc has officially begun with Chapter 88 and is being called the “Super Hero” Arc. Granolah Arc, which began back with Chapter 67 has effectively ended with Chapter 87 in August which also brought an end to the battle between the Saiyans and Gas as a part of the Granolah Arc. The Super Hero Arc itself has been divided into two arcs Super Hero prequel arc and the Call Max Arc. The prequel arc concluded with Chapter 90 and chapter 91 basically covered the first 15-20 minutes of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. This month we’ll be getting Chapter 92 and that is exactly what this article is about as the first look/draft of the chapter has been revealed!
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 92 – Piccolo vs Gamma 2!
Most of you who are here must have already watched Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and if you have then the current manga arc might be seeming a bit uninteresting. This is because the previous issue was 90% same as the first 15 minutes of the film with the only exception being Krillian’s arc. In the film we didn’t see Krillian chasing Magenta’s car while he was making the deal with Dr Hedo. Anyways, the same is expected from Chapter 92 as well with a few minor changes here and there. The first look for the chapter is now out and considering that, it seems like manga will faithfully adapt the movie.
As you can see the chapter will begin with a fight between Piccolo and Gamma 2. You might remember that their first encounter in the film was pretty short-lived and they barely threw a punch or two before Gamma 2 assumed Piccolo was dead. Well, in the manga we expect the fight to last a bit longer to give us further insight into how powerful Gamma 2 actually is as compared to Piccolo. The chapter is expected to include the next 15-20 minutes of the film and might end with Piccolo spying on the Red Ribbon Army and finding out about Cell Max.
As per info provided by trusted sources, Dragon Ball Super chapter 92 is expected to be released on Thurday, April 20 in the monthly V-Jump issue along with Boruto Chapter 80 among others. As you may know DBS is serialized in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is released on the 21st of every month, barring a Sunday or holiday. When DBS chapter 92 comes out, fans will be able to read it on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and Viz Media’s Manga Plus site. The international release time for the manga series’ upcoming chapter is expected to be the following:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern Time – 11 AM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 11 PM
- Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM
