Dragon Ball Super Manga’s latest arc has officially begun with Chapter 88 and is being called the “Super Hero” Arc. Granolah Arc, which began back with Chapter 67 has effectively ended with Chapter 87 in August which also brought an end to the battle between the Saiyans and Gas as a part of the Granolah Arc. The Super Hero Arc itself has been divided into two arcs Super Hero prequel arc and the Call Max Arc. The prequel arc concluded with Chapter 90 and chapter 91 and 92 basically covered the first 30-40 minutes of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. This month we’ll be getting Chapter 93 and that is exactly what this article is about as the first drafts of the chapter have been revealed!
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 93 Full Summary and Spoilers
First off, let me start by saying that Dragon Ball Super Chapter 93 Summary and all raw scans have been leaked today! Dragon Ball Super Chapter 93 is titled “The Plan to Kidnap Pan”, and following is the plot summary of the issue as provided by @DBSHype. The chapter begins with Goku and Broly facing each other as the narration explains who Broly is, talking about his strength and his childhood. He spent many years with his father, who was planning to get revenge on King Vegeta for what he did to him. Some years later, they were found by Lemo and Cheelai and his father thought they were finally being rescued. They were taken to Earth in their ship and, soon after the Tournament of Power, they interrupted the brief period of peace to fight against Goku and Vegeta.
The following pages describe what we have already seen in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, with Frieza attacking Broly’s father and Broly gaining a power boost because of it. It also covered Goku (Perfected Super Saiyan Blue) and Vegeta (Perfected Super Saiyan Blue) vs. Broly (Legendary Super Saiyan) and Gogeta (Perfected Super Saiyan Blue) vs. Broly (Legendary Super Saiyan). After being defeated, he returns to the planet he was on and starts living with Lemo and Cheelai. So basically this chapter had a movie recap within a movie recap. But the good thing is that chapter marks Gogeta’s manga debut and he is now canon! Anyways, Cut to the present and he begins to enter Super Saiyan mode, to Goku’s surprise.
Goku says that he cannot lose control like this and Broly apologizes. As he asks Vegeta to say something to him as well, we see that Vegeta is concentrating and has his eyes closed. Goku says he’s been meditating for too long and that if his body will get stiff. Vegeta tells him to shut up and Goku comments on how he’s changed, he never thought Vegeta was capable of doing something like that. Vegeta responds by saying that fighting all those strong enemies made him realize that inner stability is important for getting stronger.
Well, after that the events play exactly like the Super Hero Movie as Beerus gets skeptical of Broly being on his planet. But then he sees Chilai and tastes Lemo’s food and allows Broly, Lemo and Cheelai to stay on his planet. Cut to Piccolo, he is still spying on the Red Ribbon Army and suggests to go along with a soldier to kidnap Pan so that he can incite Gohan to step up! We then see Piccolo and the soldier on the way to kidnap Pan and the scene cute to Goku and Vegeta sparring just like they did in the movie while spectators enjoy ice cream and Whis misses Bulma’s SOS call. This is where the chapter ends concluding almost half of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. In the next chapter we can expect the Gohan vs Red Ribbon Army showdown to begin!
DBS Chapter 93 Release Date and Time
As per info provided by trusted sources, Dragon Ball Super chapter 93 is expected to be released on Thurday, May 18 in the monthly V-Jump issue. As you may know DBS is serialized in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is released on the 21st of every month, barring a Sunday or holiday. When DBS chapter 93 comes out, fans will be able to read it on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and Viz Media’s Manga Plus site. The international release time for the manga series’ upcoming chapter is expected to be the following:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern Time – 11 AM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 11 PM
- Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM
