Fortnite is well known for collaborating with a variety of brands, studios, comics, and celebrities. So, any news for any sort of collaboration should not be surprising for anyone. In these collaborations, fans are offered new skins, new missions and new gameplay enhancements according to the event. Most of these crossovers/collaborations last for a week or so but offer fans a lot of fun. Owing to a latest leak by @HYPEX we now know Dragon Ball Super is soon coming up in Fortnite and what all is going to be added. The article contains massive spoilers for the event including upcoming skins, Gliders, Backblings, Pickaxe, and Emotes as provided by @AirDokkan & @Luca_dokkan.
Dragon Ball Super x Fortnite Skins

According to info @HYPEX the Dragon Ball is also going to collaborate with Fortnite and bring in awesome DB content to the Battle Royale game. We expect the collab to be about the latest film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero because it is going to release worldwide in August, so that makes most sense. The collab will include 4 new Outfits which are as follows:
- Goku skin will have an emote that transforms him to his Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Mastered Ultra Instinct form
- Vegeta skin will also have an emote that transforms him to his Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan Blue
- Beerus, the God of Destruction
- Bulma, Goku’s oldest friend and Vegeta’s wife
Dragon Ball Super x Fortnite Gliders
Skins are not all as this huge crossover will also bring along new gliders which are as follows:
- Shenron, the all-powerful wish granting Dragon, who has been a major part of DB since beginning
- Flying Nimbus, Goku’s flying cloud which requires its rider to be of pure heart
- Saiyan Pod, the shuttles in which Goku, Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, and other Saiyans arrived on Earth
Backblings
Back Bling are cosmetic items obtainable in Battle Royale and Save the World. While they are not as sort after as other things in Fortnite, many fans collect them as well. So, here’s what Back Blings are going to be added in the crossover:
- Dragon Balls Radar which helps in tracking Dragon Balls in the DB universe
- Turtle shell which Master Roshi, the turtle hermit wore and trained Goku and Krillian with
Dragon Ball Super x Fortnite Pickaxe
The Pickaxe is a tool that players can use to mine and break materials in the world of Fortnite. With each crossover, a new kind of pickaxe is added and so is the case this time. Goku and his Grandpa’s Power Pole is being added as the pickaxe in the game. The red colored power pole was a faithful ally of Goku in the original Dragon Ball anime and it extends as long as Goku wants it too. However, we are not sure Power Pole Extension would be a part of the update.
Emotes
Finally, emotes are cosmetic items available in Fortnite. They enable the player to perform a short action, which involves the player character moving to act it out. The emotes being added to DBS x Fortnite are:
- Metamor Fusion popularly known as Fusion Dance is the ritual in Dragon Ball universe, after performing which, Trunks and Goten unite into Gotenks. While Goku and Vegeta have never done this the anime, they are done it numerous times in films calling their unified form Gogeta.
- Goku skin will have an emote that transforms him to his Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Mastered Ultra Instinct form
- Vegeta skin will also have an emote that transforms him to his Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan Blue
