Dragon Ball Super Manga’s ongoing Granolah Arc, which began back with Chapter 67 is all set to debut its Chapter 86 next week. This chapter will also proceed with the battle between the Saiyans and Gas as a part of the Granolah Arc. Fans have been calling this arc overextended and tiresome, full of multiple storylines and subplots. The last issue (Chapter 86) revealed what seemingly appeared to be the end of the battle as well as this arc but after DBS Chapter 87 leaks, it doesn’t seem like its ending. So read on only if you are in for some massive spoilers as the full manga issue plot has been leaked along with some leaked pages.

First off, let me start by saying that Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87 Full Summary and pages have been leaked today! The chapter will fully and officially release on Thursday, 19th August in Japan. Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87 is titled “The Greatest In the Universe Revealed”, and following is the plot summary of the issue as provided by @DBSHype. Obviously, massive spoilers follow below, so read at your own risk. Also, check out some of leaked images provided by the same source which where later deleted.
The chapter begins with Goku and Vegeta kinda unsatisfied with the way they won. Vegeta says he will polish his techniques even more so he can surpass Goku once again. That’s when Granolah falls to the ground and starts coughing. The two of them are worried, Vegeta asks if he used some risky technique and Granolah confirms. He says his lifespan has probably decreased even more and Goku doesn’t understand what he means.
Granolah then says he has only 3 years left, that’s the pact he made in order to become the strongest. Goku says he does some pretty reckless stuff and Vegeta asks if Gas did the same thing, which Granolah says that’s probably the case. Monaito asks to get a look at him and suddenly seems surprised. Goku asks if it’s because of how little time he has left but it’s the exact opposite: Monaito can maybe heal him completely. He unleashes some aura and Granolah is flabbergasted.
He does the same thing to Goku and Vegeta and they feel revigorated once again. Monaito never expect this technique to flourish at a time like this and says it’s because he used his powers too many times. Elek says that’s not what’s supposed to happen, maybe he was the dumb one for believing the dragon balls would really make him the strongest one. He prepared to leave and Goku asks if he’s planning to leave his brother behind. Elek says he doesn’t care about trashes either way and all of a sudden Monaito gets pierced by a laser.
It was Gas who shot Monaito! A new fight starts between Gas vs Goku Ultra Instinct and Vegeta Ultra Ego. Surprisingly, Gas won the victory! That’s when Frieza appears, and kills Gas with incredible ease. Frieza revealed that he was in another different world until now, and since Frieza did not exist in the universe, the holy dragon did not take him into the wish of the ‘strongest of all”. universe” for the power of Gas, which did not exceed his.
After killing Gas, Frieza says he couldn’t stay weaker than Goku and Vegeta forever, so he went in search of a new power. Frieza unveils his new Black Frieza transformation, and attacks Goku Ul and Vegeta UE.
Frieza left after showing off his new transformation which he christened Black Frieza. He also invited Maki and Oil to join his army saying that they need kitchen staff. They accept and leave with Frieza. Monaito is alive, he gives Bardock’s scouter to Goku, and Granola apologizes to the Saiyans. Goku asks Whis if the strongest warrior the Oracle Fish was talking about (when he couldn’t locate him) was Frieza, to which Whis doesn’t answer directly, but Goku and Vegeta interpret that as “yes”.. Goku says he still needs to practice. They both leave with Whis. This is the end of the chapter and this arc.
This is where the Dragon Ball Super chapter 87 ends seemingly putting an end to the Granolah arc. But still, the next few issues might be an epilogue and act as the final few pages of the Granolah Arc.
