Dragon Ball Super Manga’s Granolah Arc, which began back with Chapter 67 has effectively ended with Chapter 87 in August. This chapter bring to end, the battle between the Saiyans and Gas as a part of the Granolah Arc. Fans called this arc overextended and tiresome, full of multiple storylines and unnecessary subplots. But that is now in the past as the last issue not only put a satisfying end to the nemesis Gas but also saw a surprise visit of Black Frieza. Most fans loved the last chapter however, a few pointed out the overuse of the iconic villain Frieza in entire DB Franchise. Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 88 Full Summary – Goten and Trunks
First off, let me start by saying that Dragon Ball Super Chapter 88 Summary and draft pages have been leaked today! Dragon Ball Super Chapter 88 is titled “The Birth of the Super Heroes”, and following is the plot summary of the issue as provided by @DBSHype. Obviously, massive spoilers follow below, so read at your own risk. Also, check out some of leaked images provided by the same source which where later deleted.
Goten and Trunks are dressed as superheroes and repeating their catchphrases, they are the Clean-up Herces Saiyaman X1 and X2. They’re trying to stop a robbery at a jewelry store in Mosquito Town. located in West City. The robbers and the victims are confused by what is happening, but one of them recognizes that these two are the heroes who have been stopping crimes recently.
One of the robbers pulls out a gun, but Trunks destroys it and says that he will not forgive him if he continues to make the town dirtier. He takes the destroyed gun, puts it in a plastic bag and returns it to the thief. They then try to attack with knives and punches, but the Clean-up Heroes dodge and fight back, defeating all the bandits and reassuring the people. After that they climb a building and go back to practicing their lines and poses.
Dragon Ball Super 88 they wonder if they are not too similar to a hero named Clean God, who has a poster on this same building, but Goten says that the fact that they are a duo sets them apart. Goten’s phone starts ringing, with an announcement that there has been an incident of theft. Trunks says that this will be their next mission, but apparently it is a cyber crime.
Neither of them knows much about computers, so they give up. It is at this point that Chichi angrily calls Goten and he starts to change clothes, putting on his uniform. Trunks says that he would like to upgrade their hero suits and that he will ask Pilaf to do this. Goten then hands his suit to Trunks and rides on the flying cloud. DBS Chapter 88 Release Date and Time
As per info provided by trusted sources, Dragon Ball Super chapter 88 is expected to be released on Tuesday, December 20 in the monthly V-Jump issue along with Boruto Chapter 76 among others. As you may know DBS is serialized in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is released on the 21st of every month, barring a Sunday or holiday. When DBS chapter 88 comes out, fans will be able to read it on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app and Viz Media’s Manga Plus site. The international release time for the manga series’ upcoming chapter is expected to be the following:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern Time – 11 AM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 11 PM
- Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM
