Since it has premiered in Japan, unfortunately a lot about Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has been leaked on the internet. DBS: SH just debuted on 11th June 2022 in Japan and is set to debut 19th August 2022 in the US and worldwide. Dragon Ball Super anime has been on a hiatus ever since Broly movie and this is the first DBS anime content to come out in 4 years. So, obviously fans like me are really excited and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Gohan and Piccolo, who are take the center stage in the film. It seems like the film is blowing past all expectations and has some major character moments. If you wish to receive some major spoilers, aside from the one in the title, only then proceed with this article.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero #1 Spoiler – Cell Max
Yes Cell Max is the final antagonist of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero as we predicted. As reported before, he has been revealed to be a giant monster with spikes hammer tail and red design. He is extremely powerful and to defeat him our heroes had to unlock new levels of power.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero #2 Spoiler – Final Gohan / Gohan Blanco
To defeat the Cell Max monster, Gohan achieves a new form called Final Gohan / Gohan Blanco with white hair and red eyes. In this form he emits a purple glow covered with lightening and a white aura. This badass and well deserved transformation looks like a love child of Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego. You can read all about it here along with his full leaked transformation video.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero #3 Spoiler – Orange Piccolo
Piccolo achieves not one but two new forms in the film – Golden Piccolo and Orange Piccolo. While Golden Piccolo was officially revealed months ago, orange Piccolo is a new form granted to him by Shenron. Piccolo is his orange form was described to be stronger, bigger, and having a logo on his back that comes out of nowhere.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero #4 Spoiler – Vegeta beats Goku
In the post-credit scene of Dragon Ball Super, yes there is one, Vegeta finally beats his frenemy Goku/Kakarot. How exactly he beat Goku hasn’t been revealed yet but he does and that’s a great news for all you Vegeta fans! So yeah, stick around for this post-credit scene.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero #5 Spoiler – Android 21 is canon
Yes, Android 21 is in the movie and she is named Yumi. She is Gero’s wife, Gebo’s mother, and Hedo’s grandmother. Android 21 was designed by Akira Toriyama and made her debut in Dragon Ball FighterZ. She wasn’t a canon character till now but this marks her first anime appearance and that too in a movie that is officially canon.
#6 Spoiler – Gamma 2 Dies
In a rather sad moment Gamma 2 dies saving Gohan from Cell Max. But his death acted as a motivating factor for Gohan to unlock his true potential. The scene sounds very much like Android 16 death scene from Cell saga which pushed him to transform to Super Saiyan 2.
#7 Spoiler – Pan Learns to Fly
According to reports, Pan tries to learn to fly throughout the film but failed repeatedly. However, when she runs for her life in a purple explosion, she finally takes off and learns to fly. Pan has been setup to be quite a powerful character in the Dragon Ball franchise and we expect her to even surpass her dad.
#8 Spoiler – Carmine Survives
Pan, Gohan’s daughter, knocks out Carmine in the final act but the film said nothing much about his future, so he most definitely survives.
#9 Spoiler – Hachimaru Kills Magenta
As reported by DB Chronicles, “Dr. Hedo‘s Hachimaru has been spying Magenta ever since Hedo returned from the prison. On Hedo’s order Hachimaru kills Magenta.
#10 Spoiler – Dr. Hedo Joins Capsule Corp.
Dr. Hedo now works at Capsule Corporation and we may be able to see more Androids in the future.
