Fans of Dragon Ball Franchise have been quite patient with the popular anime as the last thing we saw from it was Dragon Ball Super: Broly (2018). With absolutely no updates on Dragon Ball Super Season 2, fans of the DB anime were eyeing the second DBS film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. It was earlier all set to release on 22nd April in Japan but was postponed indefinitely. Well, don’t fret as we have some some news for you.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Potential Release
While we were expecting to see it sometime this month, now we’ll have to wait, but only a for bit more. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will surely release before June and here’s why. An official listing from the publisher Shueisha reveals that the DBS:SH novel is all set to come out on June 30, 2022. Since the novel is arriving on this date, the movie has to release before it. That’s not even debatable, that’s a fact. Hence, unless in near future Shueisha postpones the book release, there is no doubt we’ll see DBS:SH before June ends.
Also, an interesting thing here is that, as soon as fans pointed this out, Shueidha took down the release date and changed it back to TBD. So, of course there’s something shady going on here, But fans were quick to take screenshots and post it on Twitter and various other platforms. As for it’s potential release date, it looks like we’ll see it sometime in June itself. If the novel is coming out on 30th, most probably we’ll see the movie release a week before that is somewhere around 22nd June. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, unlike most DB anime, features Gohan and his alter ego Great Saiyanman in the lead. Gohan returned to the action in Dragon Ball Super’s Universe Survival Saga and we have some high hopes for him from here. After all, he was meant to be the most powerful Saiyan in the DB universe but was left way behind his father and Vegeta. Guess we’ll have to wait to see what’s in store for him in DBS: Super Hero.
