Edens Zero is one of those new manga/anime series which is still struggling to find its place in this increasing anime dominated world. So far, the Edens Zero anime has just one season which received mediocre reviews, however, the manga does have a solid fan following. That is precisely the reason why it already has over 200 issues and fans hardcore continue to showcase their love for this science fantasy manga. Edens Zero has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since June 2018, and has twenty-two tankōbon volumes as of August 2022. Owing to all this a second season of the anime is also all set to premiere in April 2023 but today we are going to talk about the upcoming Edens Zero Chapter 229.

Chapter begins as Weisz is trying to figure out where Fie is and how his powers work. Fie can follow Weisz anywhere thanks to a tracking device, and he can and shoot through walls. Hermit contacts Weisz from Digitalis; she’s already regained her memories since she saw Witch, and is still crying with joy about it. Witch and the friendly troll boss are there too.
Hermit spells out Fie’s whole strategy: he turns into smoke and moves to a different building through the air ducts every time he shoots, and uses a small bullet-shaped drone to make it look like bullets are shooting at Weisz from everywhere. Witch installs a thermograph on Arsenal because Fie’s high heat signature is still a dead giveaway.
Fie gets trolled by Hermit with a sexy hologram of Witch, literally just for fanservice. Hermit sets Weisz’s empty suit on autopilot to bluff Fie, since he only tagged the suit with the tracking device, not Weisz himself. Weisz sneaks in from behind and crushes Fie with a mechanized power arm (it’s the same arm Fie cut off in U1). The chapter ends with a climax for Shiki vs. Nero which has already been announced for next chapter.

Chapter 228 of Edens Zero is scheduled to launch on Wednesday, March 1, 2022 at 12:00 AM JST. As EZ is printed in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, a brand new chapter comes out each Tuesday. Obviously, the date and time of this manga will change from nation to nation because of the totally different worldwide time zones and we have compiled a list of few of them below:
