Crunchyroll just confirmed that the new season will premiere on January 8, 2026, picking up right where that heartbreakingly chaotic Shibuya Incident left off.

Before the season officially drops, fans can experience the carnage early with “Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution”, a theatrical special hitting IMAX theaters on December 3 and expanding globally by December 5.
This special will recap the devastating Shibuya Incident (basically a reminder of your trauma) and then premiere the first two episodes of Season 3. Imagine watching Gojo-level animation on the big screen with surround sound — goosebumps guaranteed.
MAPPA Studios returns for animation, which means we’re in for another season of visually insane fight sequences, smooth cursed-energy choreography, and questionable sleep schedules for the animators (we salute them).
