It is an awesome time for MHA fans as the season 6 of the anime is airing weekly and the manga is also coming out weekly. Since Chapter 366, the manga has been on a roll and the arrival of Deku (check out POP figures here) was something fans were waiting for a long time. Boku No Hero Academia follows the story of Izuku Midoriya (Deku) who is part of a world where 80% of the population is born with different types of quirks (superpowers). So, if you a manga reader or want to know more about the latest #385 chapter of the Manga, only then proceed with this article. Otherwise, you’ll be in for major spoilers for My Hero Academia season 6 and further as Season 5 left off on Chapter 257.
My Hero Academia Chapter 385 Delayed – Sudden Break
Unfortunately, this week there will be no chapter because My Hero Academia is on a sudden unexpected break again after releasing an interesting chapter last week. Since past few months, there have been continuous breaks and the for this inconsistency is the poor health of the manga writer Kohei Horikoshi. So in a sense this magazine break will do good for Horikoshi. Spoilers for chapter 385 are expected to be released between Tuesday, April 11 (at the earliest) and Thursday, April 13 (at the latest). But that doesn’t mean we have nothing for you, as you can check out the recap for Chapter 384 titled “It’s a Small World”, below.

The chapter begins with Machia attacking AFO and Tokoyami realizing it’s because of Shinsou’s brainwashing. He wonders if an attack from AFO wouldn’t nulliffy his quirk and Hawks replies that Mt. Lady is blocking the attacks aimed at Machia. AFO realizes that this quirk must be the reason why the Aoyama family has managed to deceive him. He then mocks Shinsou, saying that brainwashing is a method that only villains should use, and attacks Machia with a shockwave to bring him back to senses. Machia then starts to speak. He says that he knows that’s AFO because of his smell and asks why he abandoned him in Jaku. Read on here.
Another thing you should keep in mind is that the Golden Week is approaching and Weekly Shonen Jump as a whole will be on break on May 1st. So if things go according to plan, it’ll be something like: Chapter 385 next week, 386 the week after and then another break. Again, this also depends on Horikoshi as he may take another sudden break between the chapters.

My Hero Academia Manga Chapter 385, is going to be launched on Monday, 17th April 2023 at 12AM JST, which is Sunday, 16th April in the Western regions. Obviously, the date and time of this manga will change from nation to nation because of the totally different worldwide time zones and we have compiled a list of few of them below:
