One Piece is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation which first premiered on Fuji TV in October 1999. Since then, it has aired over 1000 episodes split in 20 seasons, making it one of the longest running anime till date. It is based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga series of the same name and follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, and his friends in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King. Talking about the manga, it is all set to debut its Chapter 1070 next week but this article is about the future of the fan favorite series as the popular writer Oda has revealed his further plans and you need to hear this!

Shueisha announced last week that it will livestream this year’s Jump Festa ’23 event on December 17-18 to fans outside of Japan for the first time on the official Shonen Jump YouTube channel. Thanks to that, we now have some amazing info as Eiichiro Oda shared some incredible and hyping information about the future of One Piece and what we are about to see. Read his entire message below!
