Rick and Morty Season 6 Trailer Released, Watch Here

The first look at the upcoming episodes of Rick and Morty, which will return for Season 6 this Fall, has appeared online. After months of teasing fans about a potential release date, Adult Swim announced earlier this Summer that Season 6 of the series would be releasing this Fall. Fans have been eager to know what happens after the fifth season, but Adult Swim has been quite secretive about the upcoming season. Fortunately, there won’t be as long of a wait between these new seasons since the first look at Adult Swim’s forthcoming content has already been revealed online.

The Long-Awaited Rick And Morty Season 6 Premieres In September

There have been several misunderstandings about what Rick and Morty Season 5’s definition of its multiverse meant going forward. It has been questioned whether or not the series will go on this path after the pair had a significant fight that looked to have more weight than any in previous seasons. Even though there are still many unanswered questions, the Rick and Morty Season 6 trailer shown above gives us some new information. It was released through a TV promo, but @CNschedules on Twitter spotted a copy of the promo had appeared online.

On Sunday, September 4 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, Adult Swim will air the season 6 premiere of Rick and Morty. The following is how Adult Swim teases Season 6’s upcoming events: “It’s season six, and Rick and Morty are back! Pick up where we left them, worse for wear and down on their luck. Will they manage to bounce back for more adventures? Or will they get swept up in an ocean of piss! Who knows?! Piss! Family! Intrigue! A bunch of dinosaurs! More piss! Another can’t miss season of your favourite show.”

Takashi Sanok, who previously wrote and directed the anime shorts Rick and Morty vs Genocider and Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil), received a series order for Ricky and Morty: The Anime from Adult Swim back in May. Featuring the voices of Justin Roiland as Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, Chris Parnell as Jerry Smith, Spencer Grammer as Summer Smith, and Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith, Rick and Morty was created by Roiland and Dan Harmon.

The first five seasons of RnM are available for streaming on HBO Max and Hulu if you want to catch up on the show before the new season premieres.
