Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse was without any doubt, one of the best superhero films ever made. It was fun, it was unique, it was engaging, and at the same time, it was full of heart. Its unique and comic book-like animation drew a lot of attention and was one of the primary reasons why it nabbed The Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It showcased exactly how multiversal storylines can work in modern times and served as an inspiration to many studios. Today, almost every superhero studio is busy creating their own multiverse. As you may be aware, its sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse was all set to release this year but was later delayed to 2023. However, today we have some good news for you guys!
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Leaked Shot From New Trailer
Across the Spider-Verse entered production in 2020 and its first trailer debuted in December 2021. The trailer gave fans a look into how Miles would reunite with Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy and explore the Multiverse further. He will eventually have to battle with Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099, making it a highly anticipated film. While the delays are really sad, but we’ll rather watch a perfectly crafted film than watch a rushed film with no substance or quality. That is what separated Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse form the lot and Sony better keep that!
However, it is still a shame that we haven’t gotten anything since almost a year now but latest leaks suggest Sony just might end our year with a bang! Some new BTS shots from the film have been leaked and they reveal that the a new trailer is underway! The shot features Miles and Gwen Stacy sitting on a porch and we see some inverted building right in front of them. Judging by the way Gwen’s pony-tail is raised up, it is probably an inverted shot and they are probably hanging from the porch.
Now this doesn’t reveal much but does tell us that we can expect a new trailer this month which will surely hype us a bit, even though the destination is nearly 6 months away. Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse is all set to release in 2nd June 2023.
