The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 6 had me feeling all the emotions, besties—goosebumps, heart flutters, and a whole lot of “girl, what are you doing?!” moments. Let’s start with the part that hit me right in the nostalgia: Laurel showing up at Belly’s bridal shower. The second I spotted Laurel in the room, I swear I got goosebumps from head to toe. It wasn’t just the mother-daughter moment—it was the weight of every shared memory, every fight, every makeup hug. Laurel has that grounding presence that makes you feel like everything’s going to be okay… even when we know EVERYTHING is about to get messy.
And speaking of messy—can we talk about THAT scene? The Conrad-Belly moment when she helped with his cut? Oh. My. Word. The air between them was so thick you could slice it with a butter knife. The way he looked at her, the almost-touch of his hand, the electricity in the silence—it was the kind of subtle intimacy that says more than any kiss could. It was steam without even trying to be steam, and I’m not gonna lie… I had to fan myself.
But here’s the thing: as much as I have so many sympathies for Conrad and just want him to finally get his piece of happiness, I can’t ignore the other Fisher boy in the room. Jeremiah is out here putting in the emotional overtime—steady, supportive, working so hard to build a good future for Belly. He’s all in. And yet… Belly’s still locking eyes with Conrad like he’s the only boy on the beach.

Which leaves me asking the uncomfortable question: isn’t she kind of playing with both of their feelings? Whether she realizes it or not, she’s keeping both brothers emotionally tethered to her, never fully letting go of either. And honestly? That’s a dangerous, heartbreaking place for all three of them to be.
So yeah, after this episode, I’m teetering. My inner romantic is still swooning over Conrad’s pining and Jeremiah’s devotion, but my logical brain? She’s back to waving the TEAM ANTIBELLY flag. Because if you can’t pick one brother, maybe DO NOT break both their hearts.
