Is your couch calling your name, or are you ready to brave the sticky floors of a theater? Either way, this week is stacked. We have space cowboys, gothic nightmares, and enough star power to blind a telescope. Grab your overpriced popcorn because here are the five movies coming out this week you need to see right now.
1. Project Hail Mary

Ryan Gosling is back in space, and no, he is not a silent getaway driver this time. He plays Ryland Grace, a scientist who wakes up on a spaceship with zero memory of how he got there. Also, he is the only human left to save Earth. Talk about a rough Monday. Directed by the geniuses behind The Lego Movie, this one hit theaters on March 20. It is funny, it is smart, and it features an alien friend that will probably become your new obsession.
2. The Bride!

Maggie Gyllenhaal decided to give us a gothic romance for the ages. Jessie Buckley stars as a murdered woman brought back to life in 1930s Chicago. Christian Bale plays the “monster” who just wanted a girlfriend but got way more than he bargained for. With Penelope Cruz and Jake Gyllenhaal in the mix, the talent on screen is basically cheating. It is weird, it is stylish, and it is officially in theaters now.
3. Wicked: For Good

If you missed the musical magic on the big screen, Peacock just saved your weekend. The sequel to the massive Wicked hit started streaming on March 20. Expect more high notes that you definitely cannot hit in the shower, incredible costumes, and the continuation of Elphaba and Glinda’s complicated friendship. It is the perfect excuse to stay in and belt out show tunes while your neighbors wonder what is happening.
4. Ready or Not 2: Here I Come

The bride is back, and she is still having the worst wedding week in history. If you loved the first movie where Samara Weaving fought off her murderous in-laws, this sequel is a must-watch. It was released on March 20 and brings back the devilish version of hide and seek that we all know and love. It is bloody, it is hilarious, and it makes your own family drama look like a trip to Disneyland.
5. The Wild Robot

Sometimes you just need a good cry over an animated machine. This movie follows a robot stranded on an island who ends up adopting a gosling. It is being called one of the best animated films in years, and it lands on Peacock on March 24. It is perfect for families or just adults who want to feel something besides caffeine jitters.
Movies are basically the only thing keeping us sane in 2026. Whether you want to see Ryan Gosling talk to himself in a vacuum or Jessie Buckley haunt 1930s Chicago, there is something for everyone. Stop scrolling through trailers and actually pick one. Your watch list is already too long anyway.
