In this failing and falling superhero environment, Invincible still stands as the messiah of the genre. Season 2 is as good, if not better than season 1, and in some aspects it actually is better than season 1. The depth of storytelling is simply crazy and I don’t think there are many or any superhero production like this. Yeah, The Boys is bloody and dark and all, but even so, it lacks the depth and sincerity of Invincible by relying heavily on profanity, and weird sh*t.
Anyways, back to Invincible, saying anything much about it would be spoiling it so, I’d just like to say that it is the best superhero production that exists right now and packs not just bloody punches, but a lot of character drama, philosophy, and meaning. It will only get better from here and fans just can’t wait for season 3! While we wait, let us look at some of the strongest characters in the Invincible universe, but please note it only consists of characters who have appeared on the show so far.
10. Thadeus
Starting off our list is Thadeus, a character whose advanced technology and intellect make him a formidable opponent. While he may not possess the raw physical power of some others on this list, his strategic mind and technological prowess earn him a spot among the top 10 strongest characters. And who knows, with his Viltrumite powers he might even even end up much much higher on this list in future seasons.
9. Immortal
Despite facing numerous defeats and challenges, Immortal’s immortality and centuries of combat experience still make him a significant threat. His resilience, combined with his combat skills still make him a significant threat in any battle. Although he spent most of his time this season either getting his ass kicked or grieving, he still remains one of the strongest characters on the show.
8. Angstrom Levy
Angstrom Levy’s mastery over dimensional travel and his genius-level intellect make him a dangerous adversary. With the ability to manipulate portals and access alternate realities, Levy can outmaneuver opponents and pose a significant threat in combat scenarios. He even gave his body a massive boost in the season 2 finale so just like Invincible, we too thought he was stronger.
7. Atom Eve
Atom Eve’s reality-altering abilities place her among the most powerful characters in the Invincible universe. With the capability to manipulate matter at will, she can reshape the battlefield and turn the tide of any fight to her advantage. Her versatility and creativity in combat make her a formidable force to be reckoned with. Given her insane abilities, she has the potential to beat even the strongest characters without even touching them.
6. Invincible
Mark Grayson, also known as Invincible, has proven time and again his resilience and strength. With his Viltrumite heritage and rigorous training, Mark possesses superhuman abilities including strength, speed, and durability. His unwavering commitment to justice and his willingness to stand up against overwhelming odds will soon solidify his place as possibly the strongest character in the series by the end. But currently he is on a learning curve and present mark would be pretty vincible if he takes on any of the following characters in this list.
5. The Viltrumites (Thula, Vidor, Steve Harvey, Annisa, and Rest)
As a collective force, the Viltrumites represent some of the most formidable adversaries in the universe of Invincible. Individually, Thula, Vidor, Steve Harvey, and rest possess immense strength, speed, and combat skills. Together, they are a force to be feared, loyal to the Viltrum Empire and committed to conquest. Not to mention they nearly killed Omni-Man and Mark in Episode 4. Moving on, Anissa is probably one of the strongest Viltrumites out there, so Mark never really stood a chance against her.
4. Allen the Alien
As a member of the Coalition of Planets and a seasoned warrior, Allen the Alien ranks among the strongest characters in the series. His incredible strength, speed, and combat skills make him a formidable opponent capable of holding his own against even the most powerful adversaries. With the massive boost he got in the second season, he would’ve obliterated Anissa, if he wanted to. The true potential of his new found strength is yet to be seen.
3. Kregg
The high ranking General Kregg’s immense physical strength and combat prowess make him a force to be reckoned with. As a formidable opponent, he has demonstrated his capability to overpower adversaries with ease. His presence on this list showcases his dominance and significance in the Invincible universe. And while Omni-Man wasn’t at his prime during second half of season 2, taking him down is still a big feat to achieve for General Kregg.
2. Omni-Man
Once revered as Earth’s greatest protector, Omni-Man’s betrayal shook the hero community to its core. His Viltrumite heritage grants him unparalleled strength, speed, and durability, making him nearly invincible in combat. Despite his fall from grace, Omni-Man remains a force to be reckoned with, capable of unleashing devastation on a massive scale. Even at his least powerful and most messed up state of mind, he can still prove to be a beast. And talking about beast…
1. Battle Beast
Topping our list is no one else but Battle Beast, a warrior renowned throughout the galaxy for his insatiable thirst for combat. With unmatched physical strength and unparalleled fighting skills, Battle Beast stands as the strongest character in the series so far. His reputation as a warrior without equal strikes fear into the hearts of even the most powerful adversaries. Although, he wasn’t even featured in Season 2, fans could still feel his looming presence after what he did in season 1. Within his 5 minutes of screen time so far, dude came in, beat the shit out of everyone without a sweat and left, making him the strongest character on the show so far.
This nerve-racking strength and diversity of the characters in Invincible promise endless excitement and epic showdowns for fans to enjoy in the upcoming seasons.
