Clash of Clans TH15 (Town Hall 15) and BH10 (Builder Hall 10) Updates by Developers

Hey Chief, Clash of Clans has now turned ten but it seems like the celebrations have just begun. That’s right, it’s hard to believe that Clash of Clans was released 10 years ago, and it seems like time has just flown by. The Clash of Clans 10th Anniversary celebration ran for the entirety of August and were undoubtedly the best COC celebration yet. It gave players tons of amazing content like new obstacles, statue, the event challenges, arcade machine, pixel scenery and skin set, and what not! Now that August season is all but wrapped up, it seems like COC has some more amazing content lined up for us including Clash Fest, Halloween Update, as well as the Hammerjam event right before TH15 update.

Clash of Clans TH15 and BH10 Updates by Supercell

While Clash of Clans has upped its game quite a lot since past 2 years, fans always want more. This year itself they introduced two massive updates including entire Clan Capital update and the anniversary update which introduced the arcade,  pixel set and what not. Next in line is the massive TH15 or Town Hall 15 update which might come out as early as October 2022. But one thing that COC fans have been asking for since a long time is to support the Builder Hall players and introduce BH10.

Here’s what Supercell’s Darian had to say about BH10, “We don’t plan on deleting it then rebuilding it from the ground up as a complete redesign. We’re still deciding on how we want to improve Builder Base and those decisions won’t start happening until after TH15. We’re completely focused on TH15 at the moment but once TH15 is out we’ll shift focus to see what we want to do with BB.”

Moving forward, he went on to talk about the features they are planning to add and remove from Builder Hall. “We want to address aspects players do not like such as the inability to quit the match once you’ve completed yours, as you wait for your opponent to finish. There’s even been discussion of removing the head-to-head aspect altogether and make it more asymmetric PVP similar to Home Village and Clan Capital. We also would like to add more functionality and benefit to the other aspects of the game as you progress through Builder Base rather than make it feel like it’s an isolated game that’s separate from everything. Just so you’re aware, the above listed items aren’t features that are promised to go in the Y game,” he said.

As for the progress of TH15 update as well as the Builder Hall update, he said the following, “These are just examples of high-level discussions we’re having at the moment. Once we’re ready to share details with you, I’d love to keep you updated regularly on the development of the feature whether it’s new ideas we’re working on, features that we’re developing (and features that might get cut mid-development), etc. One of the faults we had when we launched Builder Base was zero preview of what was coming in that update leading to poorly matched expectations from the community. Hopefully, we can amend that by being more transparent about its development.”

All this does sound promising and kind of a good news for the fans as it confirms that certain updates will surely be coming to Builder Base. BH10 is still unconfirmed but it is definitely possible. However, the focus of Supercell’s Clash of Clans team is currently fixated upon TH15 and any further information about BH10 will arrive once TH15 rolls out. Till then, fans are going to have an amazing time next month when the Halloween update rolls out, which would be followed by Hammer Jam and TH15 update.
