Alan Wake 2 is a sequel to the very successful game Alan Wake which released many years ago. The game was developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was supposed to be an action adventure with the premise- “Bestselling thriller novelist Alan Wake as he tries to uncover the mystery behind his wife’s disappearance during a vacation in the small fictional town of Bright Falls, Washington, all while experiencing events from the plot in his latest novel, which he cannot remember writing, coming to life.” 13 years after the release of the original game, a sequel is to be released by Sony which will take us back to the nightmares. At this year’s PlayStation Showcase, Sony along with other trailers finally released a trailer for AW 2.
Alan Wake 2 Trailer Looks Brutal!
Alan Wake 2’s trailer begins with what appears to be a nightmare that Alan is seeing. We see some weird creatures in that dream. After which the trailer shows us two FBI agents entering an abandoned house where they suspect something terrible lives. We see that Alan seems to be trapped somewhere where he is writing a story which seems to be about this FBI agent only. I know that sounds confusing but the trailer basically shows us what the synopsis of the game had promised us.

Alan Wake 2 will release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on October 17, 2023.
