Assassin's Creed Mirage Collector's Edition, Price, Release Date and More!

There are only a few video game series which enjoy the same level of fan following and hype as the Assassin’s Creed series. The biggest reason for this is the consistency of the series, as not only do the devs bring us new games at frequent intervals, but most of them are the kind of quality games we look for. Since 2007, the series has featured twelve main games in total, the most recent being 2020’s Valhalla. Main games in the series are set in an open world and played from the third-person perspective. Owing to consistently great performance of the series, fans will be getting yet another epic game in the Assassin’s Creed series by the name of Mirage! Here is all we know about the upcoming game including it’s various versions, price, release date, trailer and more.

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage Story, Trailer, and Release Date

Yes, the very first trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage came out in September 2022, so if you haven’t checked it yet, do so now!

As you can see, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set in Baghdad and will show the evolution of Basim a few decades before his appearance in AC: Valhalla. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a back-to-basics approach for the long-running series, with Ubisoft returning to the stealth-action, narrative-driven roots that defined Altair and Ezio’s earliest adventures. While the latest AC games have been quite successful themselves, they have lacked the franchise defining traits which fans absolutely adored in the first 4 AC games. In the trailer you can see a young Basim being trained in the ways of the Brotherhood and being taught the basic tenants of the organization.

Narrative director Sarah Beaulieu said that Mirage’s “narrative structure is much closer to the first Assassin’s Creed games, in the sense that it is more driven and linear than what players experience in the latest AC games.” Not just that, the trailer also reveals that the game will come out this year, aka, 2023 itself and as per latest leaks, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is all to release in August 2023. Though the date is not official yet, the sources that revealed it to be in August are quite trustworthy and it sounds pretty realistic as well. Now let us move on to the various versions and prices for the game.

AC Mirage Collector’s Edition and Price

First of all, the good news is that AC Mirage isn’t next gen exclusive and therefore, it will be released on not just PS5, Xbox Series X/S, but also on PS4, and Xbox One. Also, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on PC through the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. As for its versions it will have 3 different versions with different prices:

  • Assassin’s Creed Mirage Standard Edition – $50 / €50
  • Assassin’s Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition (includes DLC inspired by Prince of Persia) – $60 / €60
  • Assassin’s Creed Limited Collector’s Case ( includes a 32cm Basim figurine, map of Baghdad, exclusive steelbook, and more) – $150 / €150.

It is definitely not going to be cheap. In fact it is as costly as some of the most expensive AAA titles like God of War: Ragnarok etc. The pre-orders for all 3 versions for all platforms are now live, and you can check it out here. That’s all we have for you today but we’ll be back as soon as we get more informtion on the subject. Till then check out some of the major leaks for AC: Mirage right here.
