With over 18 main games in past 20 years, this franchise has dominated the modern gaming landscape. So, one has to ask that why has it never had a cinema adaptation? Well, wonder no longer as latest reports confirm that a Call of Duty Live Action series is now under development!

Call of Duty Live Action Series First Look Leaked

An Italian Youtube insider Capo del Mondo, and website uagana.it have revealed that a Call of Duty live action TV series is actively under development. That’s not all as along with this information, they have also leaked a few first look images, which you check out above and below. As per the insider, this series will be based on the Modern Warfare games in the Call of Duty series. The original Modern Warfare trilogy was released in 2007, 2009, and 2011 and the reboot series which so far has two games came out in 2019 and 2022. The live action series may keep the best elements of both the original and reboot game series.

Moving on, the insider revealed that the trailer of this live-action series will be out soon. As per reports, the series is not completed yet, but the first episodes have already been filmed. The series will also see the return of some official voice actors from the game series but we do not have any info on who will return or in what capacity. Some more images released by the insider follow below so do check them out. You can see the images of Captain Prince, Ghost, Soap, Roach, Shephard, and a hostage.

As you can see for yourself, it doesn’t look that great and in fact, it feels a but low on quality. One thing you can observe in these images is the big “DEMO” written in the corner on the images. Many productions usually do screen tests to get an overall idea how it would work and most the time just use cheap props or thrown together costumes to have a basic visual reference. So we can assume these images are for the actual full budget TV show and that explains the “DEMO” wording and the low quality look.

That is pretty much all we know about this upcoming Call of Duty live-action series.
