The 26th DICE Awards ceremony is near and as the event is just more than a month away we’ve finally gotten the list of nominees who have made it to the final nominees list. The award show first began in 1998 and very soon was called the Oscars of gaming. The award is extremely prestigious in the gaming world as it it presented by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) and held during the AIAS’ annual D.I.C.E. summit. The awards were called Interactive Achievement Awards till 2013. This year has been particularly great for gaming which ultimately means that the competition for the awards this year will be tight and many fans are going to be unhappy as such good quality lock horns for the ultimate prize. A total number of 61 games have been nominated in different sections. This just tells you about the good year that gaming has had.
This is not a fan voting award, rather a prestigious jury of members from the AIAS cast their votes to the most deserving candidate. It is done by The full membership of AIAS (over 33,000 members) via a confidential and secured voting system. So, without further ado let’s see which games have made it to the final round.
