God of War: Ragnarok is all set to release of 9th November 2022 and the pre-orders for the game are now live. The first trailer was released during last year’s Playstation showcase and from that many things became quite clear. We know that Ragnarok is upon Midgard and that Kratos, Boy, and Head aim to stop it with the help of Tyr (Norse God of War). So, now that the game is pretty close to release we are getting all sorts of new information about it and today we have for you some new leaks and spoilers about the game including Odin, new enemies, main plot, Thor, The Norns, Svartalfheim, and more. So, move ahead only if you can digest massive spoilers for the game!
God of War: Ragnarok Plot Spoilers and Leaks About Odin
Let us begin decoding a bunch of new leaks (courtesy of Creshen) with the main enemy of the upcoming sequel aka – Allfather Odin.
- It has been leaked that Odin will serve as the final boss in the game.
- Odin is an “intellectual master of dark magic” and is a surprisingly agile fighter, with a devastating arsenal of magic attacks.
- As expected, Odin is going to be the most formidable enemy this franchise has faced yet.
- To Kratos, Odin is the nightmare scenario as he acts as a replacement father tempting Atreus down a dark path by offering what Kratos cannot.
- To Atreus, Odin is both the key to his potential and the very thing blocking him from achieving it.
- Ragnarok commences with a frontal assault on Asgard and Odin releases marauding Einherjar across the Realms.
- At the end, Kratos and Odin fight for the soul of Atreus and the fate of the nine realms.
New Enemies
- Both the dark and light elves have three different enemy types.
- The Einherjar or “the army of one” or “those who fight alone” are the most formidable fighters in the Norse Mythology who reside in Valhalla and bask in their triumphs of past.
- There will be many types of Einherjar players will have to face in the game and their appearance is quite similar to the warriors in Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
God of War: Ragnarok – The Norns and Thor
Kratos will confront the Norns, the Norse Sisters of Fate. Once again, the Ghost of Sparta will change fate. It is unclear if he’ll battle them or will they guide him but taking God of War II as an example, my bet is on battle. Also, obviously, Thor is going to be a major boss fight in the game and it is a popular fan theory that he will render Kratos underpowered at the beginning of the game. He might take break Kratos’ axe and seize the Blade of Chaos from what we’ve heard fans theorize. It would surely be interesting to see how Kratos loses all his progress in this game.
All this aside, a whole new region of dwarves will be unlocked to explore by the name of Svartalfheim. Svartalfheim is also the home to countless dragons and is also called “The Home Realm of Dragons”. Dwarves are the master crafter and skilled blacksmiths known for crafting legendary armors and weapons, two of whom (Brok and Sindri) are Kratos’ huge allies.
