In a really surprising move by Sony, the New Game Plus mode or NG+ for God of War: Ragnarok has been directly released! I mean this has to be the most casual major update in the history of AAA games. God of War: Ragnarok is not just one of the biggest Sony PS property but also one of the biggest names in the gaming industry,, so such a random release devoid of any marketing was a bit unexpected. Since, November 2022 fans have been eagerly waiting for the addition of NG+ mode as it brings along a bunch of new items and allows players to test their limits further. So, now that it is out, you must be wondering what all is new and what are the new level caps. Worry not, as in this article, we’ll let you know all you need to know about this New Game Plus mode of God of War: Ragnarok!
What is God of War: Ragnarok New Game Plus or NG+?
The New Game Plus or NG+ mode of God of War: Ragnarok allows you to replay the game while keeping most of your equipment, power levels, and skills. The equipment, weapons (including the Draupnir Spear), and skills will carry over from your previous save, so you’ll be able to use your entire arsenal from the beginning of your journey. The only catch is that you will not start the game with access to Sonic and Hex arrows. All areas requiring either those arrows or the Draupnir Spear to access will not unlock until you have reached that point in the main questline.
