Whenever the word video game is heard, GTA undoubtedly pops up in every gamer’s mind. Ever since GTA Vice City launched in 2002, the GTA series has been a sensation. Additionally, GTA V went on to become one of the greatest games of our time. Therefore, GTA VI is highly anticipated, and this anticipation gives birth to a lot of leaks and rumors.
GTA 6 Full Plot and Prologue
According to xfire, GTA 6 will have two protagonists in the form of twin brother and sister. Apparently, like an old Bollywood film plot, they get separated following the murder of their parents by the cartel in 2003. The prologue of the GTA 6 game will showcase this tragic past incident which will take place in Brazil, and will kick off the rest of the events in the game.
As further reported, the male sibling becomes an agent for the DOA, which is basically the in game version of the American law enforcement organization, DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency). At the same time, his sister will seek revenge against the cartel for the murder of her parents in her own shady way. She will end up working for the same Cartel and become their hitwomen of sorts. Then she’ll aim to slowly rise higher in the authoritative chain of the Cartel and take it on once all for all while punishing those responsible for her parent’s death.
The brother will surely go up against the sister’s cartel after the siblings will find out about each other the “hard way,” however the details for their meet aren’t clear as of now. This aside, the leaker described GTA 6 as the “first game in the industry to really dive deep into the cartel/military way of life.” It seems like a classic frenemy cop gangster story with a pinch of Narcos added to it.
GTA VI Maps and Technology
According to the new leaks, the main campaign itself will be set some time in the 2020s as the two siblings eventually meet up as adults but on opposite sides. The main campaign will take place in the present day and primarily be set in the states, possibly also including Vice City map. Whereas the prologue, as mentioned above, is described as being set in Brazil, South America and in the past.
The main game has been leaked to be take place in a variety of locations in an expansive map including, Cuba, Columbia, Vice City (Miami), and Carcer City. If you are unaware, Carcer City, is basically GTA’s fictional version based on an extreme caricature of a Rust Belt city and is pretty close to the Liberty City (New York City). Some other leaked details point towards destructible buildings, and ambitious technology. Also, whether or not both these two protagonist would be equally playable, still remains to be seen.
As for the release dat, a 2024 release for GTA 6 has been leaked to be planned. Honestly, it does look like it may be able to make it by the end of 2024.
