Horizon: Netflix Live-Action Series Full Crew Revealed

Sony recently disclosed that it was collaborating with Netflix on a live-action adaptation of the Horizon franchise, which includes Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. The show’s title and other details were mentioned in a report by Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb earlier this month. However, that is about all the details that have been officially released thus far. The official announcement of some of the crew members has led to even more new information that supports Grubb’s claimed name for the show.

More precisely, Grubb recently noted that a list of several crew members working on Horizon 2074 is available on the Directors Guild of Canada Ontario website. That includes first assistant director Jack Boem (The Boys, What We Do in the Shadows), second assistant director Adam Bocknek (The Boys, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), and art director Michele Brady (The Expanse, Warehouse 13), among several others.

Website Listing Confirms Horizon 2074 And Details Its Primary Crew

According to the earlier source, the upcoming project (supposedly named Horizon 2074) will occur in two distinct time periods, with action taking place both before and after the collapse of civilisation. The Horizon series is notable for picking up many years after a catastrophic disaster has left humanity to decline. Given the potential title, it seems reasonable to assume that some actions will occur in 2074, and some will happen hundreds of years beyond that.
