Marvel’s Midnight Suns is an upcoming tactical role-playing game developed by Firaxis Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game will feature comic book characters from multiple Marvel Comics properties like Avengers, X-Men, and Runaways but majorly from the Midnight Sons (retitled Midnight ‘Sons’ for the game) supernatural team. The dark side of Marvel comics remains largely unexplored in cinema and gaming but this could be a really good opportunity to showcase these supernatural characters. But sadly, due to their lesser popularity, the devs have added prominent members of the Avengers in the team like Iron Man, Captain America, and Captain Marvel to bring in the audience.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns Doctor Strange Trailer Released
We all know how Doctor Strange is a very prominent member of the Avengers, but do you know he is also the leader of Midnight Sons? if not, then behold the Sorcerer Supreme in all his supernatural glory as the gameplay trailer for Doctor Strange in Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
Midnight Sun’s official plot summary reads, “In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, players take on the role of the Hunter – the first customizable original hero in the Marvel Universe, brought back to life from a centuries-long sleep to lead the Midnight Suns, with heroes spanning across the Avengers, X-Men, Runaways, and more. Forced to unite in opposition to Lilith, Mother of Demons and parent to the Hunter, the Midnight Suns must rise up against the darkness in the face of fallen allies and with the fate of the world at stake.”
Apart from Doctor Strange, all playable characters/superheroes revealed so far as follows:

- Blade
- Ghost Rider
- Magik
- Nico Minoru
- Spider-Man
- Scarlet Witch
That aside, Morbius, Hellstorm, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing, and Hannibal King are also expected to make an appearance of some kind in the game. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (on Steam and the Epic Games Store) on October 7, 2022.
