Ever since Marvel’s Spider-Man launched on PS4 in 2018, it has generated quite a lot of buzz and a massive fan following. From State of the Art graphics ang gameplay to an involving storyline and well written characters Marvel’s SM had it all. That’s precisely the reason why it gained worldwide acclaim and numerous Game of the Year awards. Marvel’s Spiderman: Miles Morales followed its predecessor’s footsteps and once again proved to be an incredible gaming experience. The only complaint gamers had from it, was that it was too damn short for such an amazing game. Well, anyways it helped a lot in building this universe, and thanks to that, we’ll soon be getting our hands on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Will Release in Fall 2023!
Fans were really disappointed as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was absent from The Game Awards 2022 and the last Sony State of Play also didn’t provide any updates about the same. So since Miles Morales was released last month on PC, all fans are now looking forward to Marvel’s SM 2. An year ago, we got a trailer for the same in the PlayStation Showcase 2021, but since then, we have received absolutely no updates. However, there has been a major development today as the release slate for the game has been revealed to be fall 2023 by one of the game’s writer.
The above attached post was found on www.jamiemayer.com under the screenwriting section where the writer talks about her recent projects. She mentioned Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as a Fall 2023 release while Marvel’s Wolverine as TBD. Keen eyed viewers noticed it and put it on social media and right after that Jamie changed the slate to 2023. Also, the scoopers who tweeted the update had to take their tweet down. So, there is definitely something to hide here and this makes us believe that the game is indeed set for a fall 2023 release. Fans already predicted its release to happen sometime in September/October 2023 and it seems like they were right.
Also, in certain regions, if you search for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in the PlayStation Store, you’ll now see its page with the official logo, design and credits. For now the description read, “The Next Game in the Marvel’s Spider-Man Franchise”. The listing is being found by a lot of people all around the world. That aside, an Insomniac community manager just said to make sure to follow and to add it to wishlist. This means that there are certainly more information about to pop up really soon. Since, we have seen nothing so far from the franchise this year, we expect a bunch of new information before the year ends. Fans are expecting a full length trailer, release date, and the pre-order dates revelation and honestly, it is long overdue.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is all set to debut in 2023 and will feature multiple playable characters.
